Oversees Mexican Plants Finance functions and responsible for finance NA procedures. Directly responsible for FMS Mexico Locations.
MINIMUM POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Master's degree level knowledge in Accounting or equivalent experience; manufacturing plant operations background; cost accounting experience; some knowledge of materials and processing; knowledge of blue prints; minimum 10 years budgeting and planning experience including at least 4-5 years financial management position supervising subordinate personnel. Familiarity with computer software, operations, and system analysis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· FOR NORTH AMERICA
o Provides leadership to Finance Department.
o Creates and updates procedures, policies and documentation related to RG.
o Defines the forms for internal reporting in NAFTA, standard requirements and details for reporting regarding AP / AR / Cycle Counts / Inventories / OPS / Monthly reports, etc.
o Standardizes and control AR achieving the objectives defined by Activity Controller.
o Creates the system for tooling recovery and apply to all FMS NAFTA Plants.
o Create the NAFTA policies and procedures based in Hutchinson Procedures for reporting of CNQ and CQ accurately.
o Special projects and other duties as assigned.
· FOR MEXICO
o Provides leadership to Finance
o Manages budget and cost accounting functions.
o Coordinates preparing cost estimates as required.
o Coordinates audits and works with Auditors.
o Assists and support all finance functions.
o Analyzes and presents, to teams and senior management, baseline and current costs.
o Functionally responsible for budgeting and strategy processes.
o Provides support to operating plants on cost accounting systems and opportunities for improvement.
o Develop a control plan of continuous improvement in taxes-import-export areas.
o Special projects and other duties as assigned.
o Assists in implementing, documenting and training on new systems (ONE, XA, E-REQ)
Reports to President & Chief Executive Officer. Interfaces with headquarters and operations personnel in support of budget development and control, cost accounting objectives, and general accounting practices.
