Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Director of Finance to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the accounting function and day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, managing legal business requirements with the external legal advisors, and supporting ASX compliance obligations. This is an operations and execution leadership role focused on delivering reliable financial data, process discipline, and proactive problem-solving.

You will…

• Directly manage the bookkeeper and accounting team, including performance management, training, and workload planning
• Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements under IFRS
• Drive ASX reporting compliance, including Appendix 4C quarterly cash flow statements and other continuous disclosure obligations
• Manage multi-jurisdictional accounting complexity (Israel, US, Australia), including consolidation, inter-company reconciliations, and entity-specific compliance
• Own revenue recognition analysis and coordination with senior management on complex arrangements (multi-link connectivity contracts, defense sector contracts)
• Coordinate with external lawyers, auditors and tax advisors; manage audit processes and respond to technical inquiries
• Involve leveraging NetSuite for data extraction, reporting automation, and ideally progressing toward predictive analytics and AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

Apply if you have…

• 7+ years accounting leadership (Senior controller, Director of finance, or equivalent) in a multi-jurisdictional environment (Big 4 background preferred)
• Strong IFRS and ASX reporting knowledge (or willingness to rapidly develop it)
• Experience managing accounting teams
• Fluent in English and Hebrew (written and verbal)
• A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset: independent, execution-focused, and mission-driven
• Comfort with fast-moving, growth-stage environments
• Technical abilities: You're comfortable with different tools and AI platforms, and you’re not afraid to explore and implement new platforms, especially AI-based tools, to automate processes and work smarter.
