  Develop and manage the municipality’s annual budget.

  Oversee financial reporting, audits, and compliance with government regulations.
• 
  Monitor revenue collection, expenditures, and financial forecasting.
• 
  Advise elected officials and department heads on financial strategies and policies.
• 
  Supervise accounting, payroll, purchasing, and treasury functions.
• 
  Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• 
  Prepare financial reports for municipal leadership and stakeholders.
• 
  Implement financial controls and risk management strategies.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s
  or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related
  field.
• 
  Experience
  in government finance, budgeting, or accounting.
• 
  Strong
  knowledge of municipal financial regulations and reporting standards.
• 
  Proficiency
  in financial software and data analysis.
• 
  Excellent
  leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• 
  CPA or Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO)
  designation preferred.
