The Director of Facilities leads all facilities operations for a multi-location market, ensuring buildings and properties are safe, compliant, efficient, and aligned with business needs. This role owns facility strategy, budgeting, vendor management, and team leadership while balancing day-to-day operations with long-term planning.
Facilities Leadership & Operations
- Lead daily operations, maintenance, and performance across all facilities
- Establish and oversee preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Manage bank properties both as lessor and lessee
- Manage Duckhead Lake of the Ozarks Resort property
Budgeting & Capital Planning
- Develop and manage facility operating budgets
- Lead capital improvement planning and execution
- Monitor costs and identify efficiency opportunities
Vendor & Contract Management
- Select and manage third-party vendors and contractors
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service quality
- Oversee ongoing services such as janitorial, landscaping, and utilities
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Oversee building inspections and emergency planning
- Maintain safe environments for employees and customers
Projects & Space Planning
- Lead renovations, office moves, and space optimization projects
- Coordinate with departments on facility needs
- Support property and lease-related activities
Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise facilities management and contractors
- Set performance expectations and provide coaching
- Partner with leadership across departments
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of building systems and facilities operations
- Proven leadership and vendor management experience
- Experience managing budgets and capital projects
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of facilities or related experience
- Experience with multi-site operations preferred
- Ability to travel between locations
- Availability for after-hours emergencies
- Ability to lift or move equipment as needed
- Regular and reliable attendance required
