
Director of Executive Strategy and Operations
The Director of Executive Strategy and Operations formalizes the Dean’s Office infrastructure,
serving as the principal advisor and strategic partner to the Dean of the College of Nursing. The
position exists to provide a central, organized resource for customers—faculty, staff, and
students—to seek help and support, and to ensure that requests are fulfilled in a timely manner,
including those requiring the Dean’s direct attention. Operating across the Dean’s Office and the
Associate Deans’ offices, this role unifies previously fragmented administrative functions into a
leadership-driven operations hub, ensuring that the College’s resources, initiatives, and
communications are aligned with TWU’s mission and the Dean’s strategic plan.
Work is performed under general supervision and performance is based upon completion of assignments
and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation
system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.
Reports to: Dean Nursing
Supervises: Academic Data & Operations Program Manager, Faculty Affairs and Recruitment Program
Manager, and Budget & Financial Analyst Manager

Master’s degree required.
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in higher education or a complex multi-functional
organization. Experience must include managing teams, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
Preferred: Experience in healthcare or academic administration, process improvement, data analysis,
compliance, or military/mission-driven organizations emphasizing accountability and service.
Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is
an essential function of this position.
