  • Review estimates for accuracy, completeness, pricing, and scope alignment before client submission.
  • Maintain standardized estimating procedures, templates, and quality control processes.
  • Track estimate volume, turnaround times, win rates, and pipeline activity, providing regular reporting to leadership.

Project Oversight:

  • Oversee active new construction projects to ensure successful delivery within budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Monitor project status, documentation, schedules, and milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify project risks and bottlenecks early and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with field operations, project teams, finance, and other internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all project records and updates are maintained accurately within company systems.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and support staff within the division.
  • Establish clear priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings focused on performance, development, project progress, and obstacle removal.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Monitor team capacity and proactively identify staffing and resource needs.

Reporting & Process Improvement:

  • Prepare and present division performance reports, project updates, and forecasting information to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for estimates, active projects, and completed work.
  • Develop and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Champion operational best practices, workflow improvements, and technology adoption within the division.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in new construction, project management, energy efficiency, construction operations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of leadership or team management experience preferred.
  • Strong experience with estimating, takeoffs, project budgeting, and scope review.
  • Ability to evaluate estimates for completeness, pricing accuracy, and potential project risks.
  • Proven project management experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage third-party vendors, consultants, and outsourced resources.
  • Experience working with project tracking, CRM, or database systems such as Airtable or similar platforms.
