What You’ll Do

Role

Technical Development & Leadership

  • Build out technical capability and resources within Taiwan and cross region where appropriate.
  • Identify gaps in skillsets and resources; define path to address gaps or to build out team internally
  • Develop strong leadership within CoolIT technical prowess and drive solution through internal and external partners to deliver best-in-class solutions
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and drive IP generation across the company
  • Develop key team members to ensure talent pipeline

Technical Customer Engagement

  • Act as the primary technical interface for cold plate and CDU solutions, partnering closely with commercial and supply chain teams
  • Translate customer thermal, mechanical, and system requirements into viable technical proposals for CoolIT
  • Support design reviews, technical enablement, failure analysis, and customer engagement (where appropriate)
  • Understanding of customers’ roadmap and how CoolIT’s technical capability can fit
  • Continuous improvement of our product based on customers’ feedback.
Partner Management
  • Build senior‑level relationships across functional organizations: Advanced Technology Group, Coldplate engineering, and CDU engineering.
  • Partner with our manufacturing operations to ensure CoolIT’s products are built with DFx (DFM, DFS, etc) in mind
  • Influence and negotiate for win-win with business development team, supply chain, and/or manufacturing operation
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Align closely with Country GM on regional priorities and execution
  • Partner with the Chief Technology Officer and global technical leadership to ensure consistency in strategy, messaging, and process
  • Work with operations and supply chain teams to ensure product TTM with good quality
Key Objectives & Success Measures
  • Ensure CoolIT’s cold plate and CDU designs are developed at customers’ and partners’ with highest performance, quality, and reliability
  • Build out our technical engineering team with highest standards
  • Establish strong technical leadership with partners (ODMs, OEMs, Hyperscalars, DataCenters, and downstream supply chain)
  • Convert strong relationships into long‑term strategic relationships for producing best-in-class cooling solution for the customers and CoolIT
Qualifications & Experience
  • 18+ years of experience in areas of compute, data center, and/or Ai related field. Specific experience includes data center infrastructure, thermal solutions, system designs, validation, or related technologies
  • Master of Science and Engineering in the field of Material Science or Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Proven success in engaging ODM, OEM, CSP, or hyperscale data center customers in Asia Pacific
  • Strong understanding of various cooling technologies, including cold plates, CDUs, or adjacent thermal management solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead long technical projects with external partners and internal teams
  • Experience operating in a matrixed organization with both regional and global stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel across the Asia Pacific region and North America

Preferred

  • PhD degree in Engineering with background in Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical, or related discipline
  • Prior experience supporting server, AI/accelerator platforms, or high‑density data center environments
  • Experience in system level validation and testing
  • Established relationships within Taiwan‑based ODMs and regional hyperscalers

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage technical leaders in the industry
  • Highly analytical and strategic thinker
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity in fast‑evolving technology markets
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred
