Salary Range: $140.00 - $150.00 Salary/year
Summary
The Director of Engineering is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary engineering team and ensuring the delivery of high quality designs, documentation, and production ready solutions. The role provides strategic leadership, oversees technical project execution, mandates engineering standards, manages data and system integration, and drives early stage technical planning to support successful project execution. The Engineering Director collaborates closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with organizational goals. They are responsible for developing top talent and delivering scalable, effective engineering solutions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Strong Leader who is accountable, available and leads by example
- Lead the Engineering Division with clear role responsibility and accountability.
- Develop and manage the Engineering Manager and multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive resource planning, capacity management and continuous improvement to meet business expectation.
- Own engineering governance and standards through collaboration with key departments
- Focused on a thoughtful approach to product lifecycle
- ERP data management to include Item creation and BOM detail
- Cultivate relationship(s) with vendor partners to manage project requirements
- Facilitate training opportunities to maintain quality assurance measures and metrics
- Work closely with the Director Leadership Team
- Works proactively to achieve results.
- Leverages Technical Skills to add value to project level needs.
- Contributes to Growth and New Opportunities as SME
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Communication, Business, Production Management or Supply Chain Management.
Experience
- 7 to10 years managing experience in manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Experience supporting business operations, managing large teams, managing vendor deliverables, communicating with customers
- Knowledge or experience with Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
- Knowledge or experience with ERP, Production Planning Techniques, Manufacturing Processes, Inventory and Logistical execution
- Knowledge or experience with Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge or experience with Safety and Operating Safely in Manufacturing
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the workday.
