Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center, located in Los Angeles, is a non-profit organization that provides an array of comprehensive mental health services for Children, Adolescents, Transitional Aged Youth, and Adults suffering from mental illness in the Greater Los Angeles area. The organization consists of a standalone fifty-five (55) )-bed hospital and six outlying outpatient facilities that have anywhere from fourteen (14) beds to one hundred and thirty-four (134) beds. The organization has approximately four hundred (400) employees.
OF POSITION
The Director of Electronic Health Record Systems (EHRS) & Data Analytics leads the Agency’s strategy, implementation, and management of electronic health record systems and data analytics strategies to improve clinical quality, operational efficiency, and better patient outcomes. This position manages data collection, analysis, and reporting to enhance program performance, collaborating with all departments to streamline workflows and maximize EHR effectiveness. The Director of EHRS & Data Analytics collaborates with clinical programs, Finance, Billing, Quality Improvement, Health Information Management, and Information Technology teams to ensure EHRS and data analytics align with organizational goals. This position requires strong leadership, deep understanding of healthcare data, technical skills, and expertise in regulations like HIPAA, focusing on improving care through data-driven decisions.
