Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as Director of Early Childhood Services! This role provides oversight and support to the Bridges Preschool program, helping ensure children and families receive high-quality educational, developmental, and behavioral services in a nurturing environment. As the program’s Educational Administrator, the Director will guide staff, support program development, and help create meaningful learning experiences for young children. Our growing program serves children ages birth to five in our new Brewer location.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field; eligible for certification/license as a special educator or educational administrator (282 or 030).
  • Five years’ experience in children’s services.
  • One-year experience in leadership and administrative areas.
  • Experience in fiscal management, budgeting, and applying funding regulations. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
