About this role:
Reporting directly to the Vice President for Student Life, the Director of Counseling Services provides clinical and administrative leadership for a multidisciplinary mental health team serving Berea's undergraduate students.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity combining strategic direction, team development, clinical practice, crisis response, prevention and outreach, and campus-wide collaboration. The Director oversees a residential college counseling clinic with a team of 6–8 therapists and other professionals, including practicum students, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and administrative staff.
Beyond leading the Counseling Services team, you'll serve as an important resource to College leadership on student mental health trends, participate on Berea's Care Team and crisis management teams, and build partnerships across campus and throughout the community. You'll also maintain an active clinical caseload appropriate to the demands of the leadership role.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000–$110,000 annually
Berea College also offers relocation support. A $1,000 relocation allowance will be provided for relocation, along with $8.00 per mile, up to a maximum total relocation payment of $10,000.
