Position Title: Director of Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Strategy
Business Unit: Facilities
Reports to: SVP of Human Resources and Corporate Services
The Director of Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Strategy is responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of the organization's end-to-end real estate and workplace portfolio. This role oversees construction and site development, space planning and design, lease administration, real estate data and systems, facilities management, and enterprise-level program delivery. The Director will be charged with aligning real estate and workplace strategy with the company's long term growth objectives, financial goals and evolving workforce and customer needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Enterprise Real Estate Strategy: Define and lead the company's real estate strategy, ensuring alignment with the CEO's long-term vision, business priorities, operational needs, and financial targets. Drive footprint rationalization and proactive lease management, identifying risks, opportunities, and value creation across owned and leased assets.
Overall Management: Lead a high-performing team of Directors and Managers across Construction, Workplace Strategy, Lease Administration, Facilities Management, and Program Management. Foster a results-driven collaborative culture.
Capital Program Oversight: Oversee all capital development initiatives, including site selection, due diligence, construction, and delivery. Ensure on-time, on-budget execution of complex projects. Identify & execute cost-saving opportunities through optimization, vendor strategy, and lifecycle analysis.
Workplace Transformation: Champion workplace evolution through data-driven space planning and design standards that support productivity, inclusion, and well-being. Oversee the design & construction of state-of-the-art facilities that reflect the brand, support operational excellence, and create high-performance environments.
Operational Excellence: Ensure real estate operations, facilities, and vendor partnerships deliver best-in-class service, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with finance, legal, HR, IT, and department heads to ensure real estate and workplace strategy are fully integrated into business operations.
Technology & Data Governance: Oversee the corporate real estate database and technology stack, ensuring accuracy, usability, and reporting that supports strategic and operational decision making.
Regularly brief the CEO & SVP of Human Resources and Corporate Services on major initiatives, portfolio performance, capital planning and risk mitigation strategies.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
