Job Description

About the role:

This role will be responsible for developing and implementing both internal and external communication strategies to promote the corporate branding including managing of media relation and crisis communication. This role is also responsible for the internal communication and public affairs including government related activities to enhance corporate reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving and delivering corporate communication strategy and action plan, including issue/crisis communication management, as well as taking care of government related activities.
  • Effectively develop and implement the external communication and media relation to serve the corporate branding
  • Develop strategy/action plan and manage budget for public
  • Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, and media inquiries, to enhance the company's image in the market.
  • Provides thought leadership, leads and transforms communications and branding
  • Work closely with CEO and business heads to address corporate communications, internal communications and CEO profiling opportunities
  • Develops, manages and drives the strategic deliverables within Brand, Communications, and Corporate Events, Sponsorship and Client Engagement activities.
  • Lead and coordinate the internal communications strategies which directly support business operations
  • Develop and formulate comprehensive community engagement programs to create, project and enhance a positive corporate image and identity for the company
  • Provide counsel and advice to business units on their public relations and publicity initiatives
  • Manage reputational risk and ensure that Risk Management responsibilities and processes are properly communicated to all employees impacted
  • Provide effective co-ordination during crisis communications which includes keeping crisis & issues procedures, systems and critical contact list up-to-date and ensuring effective distribution of stakeholder messages throughout the crisis

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years experience in Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing in FMCG
  • Strong corporate marketing, communications and events management experience
  • Fluent Thai and English skills both in writing and speaking
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
  • Conceptual thinking - able to structure and organize
  • Execution orientation - able to execute and deliver results
  • Leadership and change agent, People management, Influencing and networking
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers, cultural, ethnic and religious conditions across geographies in order to translate strategy into effective operations
  • Ability to overcome challenges through problem-solving
