Director of Coordination

A healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Coordination to oversee daily coordination operations, including scheduling, service coverage, team performance, and issue resolution. This role requires a strong, hands-on leader who is resourceful, solutions-oriented, and an excellent communicator.
The Ideal Candidate
Management experience in home care, health insurance, healthcare, or a related field
Home care experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to take ownership
Comfortable managing high-volume operations and competing priorities
Knowledge of home care regulations and Medicaid is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily coordination, scheduling, and service coverage
Lead and develop coordination staff while driving accountability and performance
Resolve escalated caregiver, client, scheduling, and coverage issues
Improve workflows and operational efficiency
Monitor missed visits, overtime, documentation, and other key operational metrics
Ensure compliance with agency standards and applicable regulations
Collaborate across departments to improve service delivery
Support incident reporting, audits, investigations, and corrective actions as needed
