Job Description

Directs and administers the activities of the organization regarding implementation, management, and optimization of consignment accounts. Responsible for working across departments to provide seamless processes that meet the goals of the organization and promote client satisfaction. Expected to establish and foster good relationships with consignment account representatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Work as a liaison between consignment accounts, consignment team, supply chain, operations, compliance, and sales to develop and maintain efficient, profitable, and compliant consignment processes
  2. Develop and maintain professional relationships with consignment account representatives and health system leaders to cultivate collaboration and communication that optimizes revenue, profit, and compliant processes
  3. Evaluate and manage consignment products and formulary, ensuring quality and the organization’s gross margin goals are achieved
  4. Develop and manage processes to ensure appropriate consignment inventory levels
  5. Gather, analyze, and report consignment performance data with internal and external stakeholders
  6. Provide consignment process and inventory education and training to all stakeholders as needed
  7. Administer and enforce policies and procedures of organization in adherence with company direction, company budgets and written metrics and goals
  8. Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED equivalent at minimum.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Orthotic product knowledge, warehouse and/or inventory experience is a plus but not a requirement.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory role.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is typically required to sit; frequently stands, occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

TRAVEL:

Some travel is required for this position, with occasional overnight travel.
