With the Eskimi team spread across more than 30 countries and five continents, our global presence creates a dynamic environment that fosters diversity and inclusion.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Director of Commercial Performance and Sales Operations you will be reporting to the CCO and operating as a peer to Regional Leaders, you will lead commercial performance and operations across Eskimi. Your mandate is to turn commercial priorities into consistent execution: strengthen sales discipline, coach leaders and BDMs, improve opportunity progression, and drive delivery against agreed revenue, profitability and strategic objectives. You will have delegated authority to set operating standards, challenge commitments, require corrective action and ensure follow-through across regions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set mandatory sales operating standards and chair performance reviews.
- Require recovery plans with named owners, milestones and customer evidence.
- Work directly with BDMs, with their Regional Leader involved.
- Challenge unsupported forecast commitments and publish an independent view.
- Escalate repeated failures and contribute evidence to performance assessments.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU DO IT
- +10 years in revenue/sales/commercial operations, with at least 3 years running the function (not just analysing in it) Ad tech experience is a plus.
- Proven sales leadership experience, including ownership of a team revenue target and direct management of salespeople. You understand prospecting, agency buying, qualification quality, stalled deals, and how to distinguish genuine customer evidence from seller optimism.
- A strong track record of improving performance through others. You can demonstrate how your leadership changed team behaviours and commercial results, including through difficult conversations with experienced or established leaders.
- Hands-on BDM coaching capability. You are comfortable reviewing live opportunities, identifying the missing commercial step, and helping sellers turn insight into action.
- Confidence operating in a matrix environment. You can set and enforce commercial standards across teams and regions, challenge peers constructively, and drive alignment without relying on constant senior escalation.
- Strong operational and financial fluency. You understand forecasting, reconciliation, CRM and commercial systems well enough to lead these areas through specialists while remaining accountable for the quality and accuracy of the output.
- Commercial credibility and sound judgement. You combine data with real-world sales experience and are comfortable challenging assumptions when the evidence does not support them.
- Professional-level English, with the confidence to communicate clearly and effectively with senior stakeholders across international teams.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
- Flexible work arrangements: Hybrid work models in cities with physical offices, and remote work options everywhere else. With our hybrid model, Eskimians enjoy Work Away Days—up to one month of fully remote work each year—and flexible schedules, typically beginning the day at 9 a.m. locally.
- Professional development opportunities: Grow with programs like Leaders Assembly for managers, mentorship programs for growing talents, regular learning sessions, and access to external consultants. Our internship programs also serve as stepping stones for career starters, often leading to full-time roles within the team.
- Recognition & rewards: Your efforts matter, so we reward contributions with bonus programs and Bonusly, our peer-to-peer recognition system that turns appreciation into points for gifts and vouchers.
- Additional perks: Private health insurance (location-dependent), volunteer days, and team get-togethers both online and in-person to foster meaningful connections in Eskimi.
- Take a day off to celebrate your birthday! Everyone deserves to unwind and enjoy their special day, so we provide an extra day off just for your birthday.
- The gross monthly salary range for this position is €3,500–€5,500, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
For candidates based in Lithuania, this role follows a hybrid working model from our Vilnius office (Lvivo St. 21A).
