The Director of Commercial is responsible for leading and driving all commercial activities of the resort, including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Distribution. This role is accountable for maximizing revenue, market share, profitability, and brand awareness while ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Lead and manage Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Reservations teams to drive business performance.
Identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Oversee pricing strategies, forecasting, budgeting, and demand generation initiatives to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and GOP.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support business decisions.
Ensure effective brand positioning and execution of marketing campaigns across all channels.
Collaborate with operational departments to enhance guest satisfaction and drive commercial success.
Prepare and present regular commercial performance reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management.
Support the achievement of property and corporate objectives through innovation and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, or Commercial leadership within luxury hotels or resorts.
At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior leadership role managing multi-functional commercial teams.
Strong understanding of hotel sales strategies, digital marketing, revenue management, distribution channels, and market analytics.
Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving commercial targets.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in hotel systems, revenue management tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
