Join Providence Care — your local, community-based hospice and palliative care provider dedicated to serving Georgia with compassion and excellence.

We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Hospice Director of Clinical Services (DCS) to provide strategic and clinical leadership for our interdisciplinary care team. This position oversees all aspects of hospice clinical operations — ensuring quality, compliance, and exceptional patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support the hospice clinical team, including nurse managers, social workers, chaplains, CNAs, volunteers, and support staff.

  • Oversee delivery of high-quality care in alignment with all state, federal, and accreditation standards.

  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Director of Hospice Operations to plan, implement, and evaluate all clinical programs.

  • Direct clinical policies, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team meetings.

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical documentation to ensure patient needs and regulatory standards are met.

  • Participate in budget planning, audits, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous learning among clinical team members.



Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia (required).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in hospice, home health, or related healthcare setting.

  • Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, standards of care, and interdisciplinary team management.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a compassionate, patient-first focus.
