We are seeking a Director of Clinical Quality Improvement (DCQI) to provide strategic oversight for our quality and patient safety programs, performance improvement, and accreditation.
Lead and integrate Quality and Performance Improvement (QA/PI) activities hospital-wide.
Directly manage and mentor Quality/PI department staff and operational infrastructure.
Validate and report crucial data points to optimize clinical outcomes.
Ensure continuous organization-wide survey readiness and act as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies (The Joint Commission, CMS).
Partner with Medical Staff to align quality goals with evidence-based practices.
Maintain strict adherence to all HIPAA policies.
Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in a patient-care related field.
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience: 5 to 7+ years of dedicated QA/PI experience in a healthcare environment, with proven management and leadership experience.
Certification: CPHQ designation preferred (or eligible to obtain within two years of hire).
