Job Description
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The Director of Campus Visits should be a person devoted to Christ, self-motivated, able to operate with minimal supervision, organized, professional, detail-oriented, a capable communicator, and willing to work flexible hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be detail-oriented
- Strong in communication and ability to work with others
- Able to follow through with a project to completion
- Able to handle multiple projects at one time and meet multiple deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise individual, group, and special guest visits to the campus.
- Create and administer a tour guide training program to be completed by all tour guides and campus visits drivers.
- Perform routine training and re-training of all tour guides including observing tour guides during tours.
- Create and maintain a tour evaluation form to be completed by guests at the end of campus visits.
- Research and create new ideas to improve guest visits and tours.
- Plan, coordinate, and organize events related to Undergraduate Admissions, including Patriot Preview, Counselor Appreciation Luncheon, New Patriot Orientation, and others as needed.
- Oversee Welcome Team staffing, training, and scheduling.
- Supervise Welcome Team to ensure an atmosphere of genuine hospitality for prospective students and parents while visiting campus.
- Ensure Welcome Center and Media Room are presentable at all times including furniture, countertops, and marketing brochures.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Regular office hours between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, but occasionally flexible hours will be required. Registration Saturdays and periodic evening or weekend special events will also be required.
WORK LOCATION:
This position will work on the main campus, located at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211
Qualifications
- Must be a Christian who is a member of a church that holds Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior, and who holds solely the Old Testament and the New Testament as sacred Scriptures.
