What you will do:

Workplace Options is seeking a Director of Business Solutions to lead strategic partner development and alliance growth within the Australian market. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding high-value reseller and wholesale partnerships, particularly within insurance, group benefits, and wellbeing ecosystems. The role plays a critical part in shaping go-to-market strategies, driving pipeline growth, and influencing long-term commercial success.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new strategic alliance and reseller partners within the assigned territory
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of wholesale and partnership opportunities using structured market research and outreach
  • Engage and influence senior decision-makers including CEOs, founders, and executive leaders
  • Drive insight-led, consultative partner conversations aligned to partner needs and market dynamics
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Product, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to shape go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate subject matter experts into the sales cycle to support complex partnership discussions
  • Gather and share market intelligence to inform product positioning and partnership strategies
  • Ensure successful handover and ongoing alignment with internal teams to support partner success
  • Perform additional duties aligned to business growth objectives as required

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related customer-focused discipline
  • Experience within EAP, insurance, group benefits, or wellbeing industries
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
  • Proven experience in business development and strategic partnerships within insurance, wholesale, channel sales, or reseller environments
  • Strong executive-level network and credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated consultative selling and relationship-building capabilities
  • Experience managing pipelines, forecasting, and performance tracking using CRM tools
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and align internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
