TCOM is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development – Radar to lead the identification, shaping, pursuit, and capture of domestic and international radar opportunities across air, maritime, ground, and integrated air and missile defense markets.
This strategic leadership role will develop and execute radar-focused growth strategies, cultivate senior-level customer relationships, anticipate future mission requirements, and drive competitive positioning across TCOM’s radar portfolio, including surveillance radars, multi-mission systems, counter-UAS radars, and integrated sensor architectures.
Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, the Director will lead strategic campaigns from opportunity identification through contract award. Key areas of responsibility include market analysis, competitive assessment, customer engagement, solution shaping, capture strategy, and cross-functional leadership.
This position requires domestic and international travel, generally 25–50% within the assigned region, with quarterly travel to the U.S. for international assignments. Certain campaigns may require temporary or long-term residence in a target country.
This position involves regular interaction with customers, partners, internal teams, and senior leadership. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
Travel: Approximately 25–50% within the assigned region, with quarterly travel to the U.S. for international assignments. Temporary or long-term international relocation may be required for certain campaigns.
In compliance with Virginia state and local laws, the salary range for this role in Virginia is $150,000 – $200,00. The range provided is a general guideline and good faith estimate representative of all experience levels but is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. TCOM considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, a candidate’s experience, education/training, key skills, internal equity, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
