About the Role
The Director, EDC Business Development – Commercial is responsible for driving revenue growth within the enterprise and biotech market segments by promoting Signant Health’s Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and clinical technology solutions.

In this role, you will develop and manage strategic client relationships while executing targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue goals. You will work closely with internal teams across solutions, proposals, technical delivery, and operations to deliver tailored solutions that meet the complex needs of biotech and enterprise customers.

What You Will Do
• Execute sales strategies for assigned EDC accounts and territory, achieving revenue and growth targets for Signant Health’s clinical technology solutions.
• Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans aligned with annual commercial objectives.
• Lead the end-to-end sales process for Signant Health’s EDC solutions, serving as the primary point of contact for prospective clients.
• Partner with internal teams including Solutions Architects, Proposals, Technical Solutions, and Operations to develop compelling customer proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across biotech, CRO, and enterprise organizations.
• Manage and report on sales pipeline activity to ensure accurate forecasting and achievement of targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align customer initiatives with Signant Health’s solutions and maximize opportunities.
• Represent Signant Health at industry conferences and events to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
• Contribute to broader commercial team initiatives and projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
• Proven track record of success in B2B sales within the clinical research, life sciences, or eClinical technology industry.
• Experience selling Electronic Data Capture (EDC) or related clinical technology solutions to pharmaceutical companies, biotech organizations, or CROs.
• Strong understanding of clinical research technology and eClinical platforms.
• Experience developing proposals and participating in RFP or bid processes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and execute territory sales plans and consistently achieve revenue targets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to manage complex sales pipelines and deliver accurate forecasts.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid business acumen and analytical mindset with a results-driven approach.

Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience selling eClinical solutions within pharmaceutical or CRO environments.
• Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
