The Director of Sales oversees sales and marketing efforts within their assigned territory, developing and executing strategies to achieve pharmacy growth goals by nurturing existing leads, generating new opportunities, and enhancing community and professional awareness.
Roles and Responsibilities• Leads business development initiatives that are consistent with the Company’s overall growth strategy.• Develops sales and marketing plans to achieve growth goals for pharmacy services within assigned territory.• Generates new business leads via prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow-up with all viable opportunities in a timely manner.• Keeps abreast of industry and market changes to continually assess and evaluate growth opportunities and the need for product enhancement and/or development.• Attends industry conferences, trade shows and networking events to develop relationships.• Works closely with operations, clinical and account management teams to help manage customer relationships.• Maintains and strengthens relationships with existing customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction with their services.• Assists with customer retention and contract renewals, as needed.• Understands key aspects of the Company’s business lines to develop customer-focused solutions designed to address customer-specific needs.• Gathers accurate data from potential clients that can be reviewed with operations, clinical, and finance teams for development of tailored solutions.• Completes routine sales activity reports, updates prospect pipeline status, and communicates effectively to operations, clinical, finance, and management teams.• Ability to meet new business development quotas as assigned to achieve sales goals forassigned territory.• Other duties as assigned.

Physical RequirementsSitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
