The Director of Business Development for Roskam Foods’ is a high-performing, results-driven leader focused on delivering annual profitable sales growth. Reporting to the CCO, the Director of Business Development will leverage our technical and R&D strengths to drive new business and expand partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Annual Growth: Execute strategies to deliver profitable sales growth and exceed budget targets.
  • Target and Attract Key Customers: Focus on accounts that value R&D, technical expertise, and adaptability.
  • Build Partnerships and Pipeline: Develop long-term relationships through facility tours, product demos, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with sales support, R&D, procurement, quality, finance, and operations to tailor proposals and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Track Performance: Monitor pipeline health, customer retention, and revenue growth.
  • Scout Trends: Stay ahead of market shifts (e.g., clean-label, precision wellness) and leverage insights from industry events like PLMA, Expo West and IBIE.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in delivering annual sales growth and penetrating new accounts in the food industry.
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience in store brand, food ingredients, bakery, or food co-manufacturing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong strategic thinking skills.
  • Deep understanding of food manufacturing trends, health-focused innovations, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in a matrix environment.
  • Willingness to travel 50–70% for customer visits, trade shows, and market scouting.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

The anticipated total compensation for this role is $140,000 – $200,000, combining a competitive base salary with performance-based bonuses
