Job Description

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, an AmLaw 100 law firm, seeks a Director of Associate and Summer Program Recruiting to join one of its U.S. offices. The Director will work closely with firm leadership on all aspects of associate and summer program hiring across the Firm's domestic offices and practice groups, as part of an established, closely knit recruiting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and management of the Firm's associate and summer program recruitment initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor members of the associate and summer program hiring teams.
  • Work with Practice Group Leaders on associate and non-partner hiring needs across all offices and practice groups.
  • Review candidate submissions and counsel Practice Group Leaders on qualified candidates.
  • Oversee the design and execution of the summer program and build and maintain relationships with law schools.
  • Communicate with search firms and internal constituencies regarding hiring needs.
  • Analyze market trends and internal data to inform recruiting decisions and improve processes.
  • Work with internal administrative departments to ensure the successful recruitment and onboarding of new hires.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services industry.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated client service mentality, professional demeanor, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Advanced technology skills (Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems).
  • Travel, occasional, as needed.

COMPENSATION The national average salary range for this role is $112,974-$170,707. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience.
