Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 SalaryStrategic Venue & Production Leadership
- Provide overall leadership for the operation of the Bezdek Performing Arts Center.
- Establish and enforce venue, production, and scheduling standards consistent with professional performing arts practice and school policies.
- Independently prioritize competing uses of the facility, balancing instructional needs, performances, and revenue‑producing rentals.
- Serve as the principal decision‑maker regarding production feasibility, risk assessment, and operational readiness.
Revenue Generation & External Rentals
- Lead the strategy for external rentals and other earned revenue opportunities.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external presenters, artists, producers, and clients.
- Exercise discretion over pricing, rental terms, and contract approvals within established guidelines.
- Evaluate rental opportunities based on financial return, operational impact, and mission alignment.
- Oversee event budgeting, settlements, and post‑event financial analysis.
Production Oversight & Coordination
- Oversee planning and execution of school and external productions, ensuring alignment across artistic, technical, and operational needs.
- Supervise the Lead Technical Manager and ensure technical strategy supports production objectives.
- Address complex production and scheduling challenges requiring judgment and trade‑off decisions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices for live performance environments.
Staff, Vendor, and Institutional Collaboration
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate direct reports.
- Contract and manage external vendors and over‑hire personnel.
- Coordinate with faculty, staff, and administrators to support curricular and co‑curricular arts programming.
- Represent Bezdek in cross‑departmental planning and institutional initiatives.

Qualifications
- Significant experience in performing arts venue operations, production leadership, or comparable environments.
- Demonstrated success managing complex schedules, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong independent judgment with demonstrated financial and operational decision‑making authority.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
