Job Description

Do you want to be part of increasing the business value of our AI investment?

As our new Director of AI Enablement, you will be the face of AI across the company — educating the business, inspiring followership, and enabling teams to adopt AI confidently and responsibly. You will work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong governance, scalable deployment, and measurable business value. If you enjoy presenting to senior leaders, influencing the organisation, and empowering teams to embrace AI, then keep reading.

What will be your key responsibilities?

The Director of AI Enablement is responsible for making us truly AI‑ready. You will define the direction for our AI technology landscape, establish frameworks for responsible use, and enable teams across the business to adopt AI safely, consistently, and at scale. You will act as the bridge between business and technology, embedding AI into everyday ways of working and building strong followership across functions.

  • A central part of your role will be to educate, inspire, and engage the business to manage the value capture of AI

  • Build AI literacy and training programmes that uplift organisational capability and create followership

  • Drive use‑case identification and inspire teams with high‑value opportunities

  • Establish intake and prioritisation models for AI initiatives

  • Define AI governance frameworks and guardrails in collaboration with the CISO and EA

  • Lead evaluation of AI vendors and AI technology scanning

  • Oversee deployment of enterprise AI tools, including agentic AI and emerging platforms

  • Enable bespoke AI development with product and engineering teams

  • Manage AI cost structures and forecasting

  • Track value realisation and ROI for AI initiatives

You will build and lead a team of 3–5 experts and report directly to the EVP, CTIO. AI is high on our strategic agenda, and you will play a key role in presenting and updating our Executive Group Management team and Board of Directors, including CVC.

Have You Got What We’re Looking For?

You are a strategic thinker with strong execution skills — but equally important, you enjoy enabling others and creating strong followership across the business. You thrive in the space between creating enterprise value and deep tech expertise. You enjoy presenting, educating, and simplifying complexity. You thrive in global, matrixed environments and know how to create clarity, structure, and momentum in a rapidly evolving space.

  • A degree in a business or technology‑related field

  • Strong experience in digital transformation and enterprise‑level change

  • Hands‑on understanding of AI technologies and the vendor ecosystem

  • Proven stakeholder management and governance experience

  • Strong business acumen, including cost modelling and value tracking

  • Excellent English communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity

  • Strong influencing skills and experience as a manager with informal leadership that builds followership

  • High learning agility and curiosity for emerging technologies

  • An outcome‑driven mindset with the ability to prioritise and make decisions

What does success look like?

  • High adoption rates of enterprise AI tools across functions

  • Productivity and efficiency improvements enabled by scaled AI solutions

  • Use cases deployed to production with measurable business value

  • Strong governance and compliance in collaboration with the CISO

  • Transparent cost management and optimisation across the AI portfolio
