Director of Admissions | University Enrollment Director | Jobs in Dubai

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

A prestigious university in Dubai is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Admissions to lead and oversee the student admissions department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and enroll high-caliber students, ensuring smooth admission processes, and driving the universitys growth in line with its vision and objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and an in-depth understanding of higher education admissions, marketing, and student recruitment strategies in the UAE and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic enrollment plan to attract high-quality students while meeting enrollment targets.
• Oversee the entire admissions process, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and a seamless student experience.
• Lead and manage the admissions team, providing training, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international student recruitment agencies, schools, and education partners
• Drive digital and traditional marketing initiatives to enhance the universitys brand presence and student outreach.
• Analyze admissions data and trends, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement in recruitment and enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with local and international higher education regulations and accreditation standards.
• Represent the university at education fairs, expos, and recruitment events to engage with prospective students and stakeholders.
• Work closely with faculty, finance, and student affairs departments to facilitate admissions policies and ensure alignment with academic and financial guidelines.
• Oversee the scholarship and financial aid programs, ensuring they align with the universitys objectives.
• Develop and manage the admissions budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in university admissions, student recruitment, or higher education administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of UAE higher education market, student recruitment trends, and international admissions practices
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful student recruitment strategies
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills to drive admissions success.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with admissions software, CRM tools, and digital marketing techniques
• Ability to analyze enrollment data and make strategic recommendations based on insights.
• Experience managing scholarship and financial aid programs is an advantage.
