ECU Health Behavioral Health Hospital, a joint venture between ECU Health and Acadia Healthcare, is a modern inpatient behavioral health facility expanding access to high-quality mental health services across eastern North Carolina. The hospital provides comprehensive, evidence-based care through acute inpatient treatment, with plans to grow into partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for adults and adolescents experiencing conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and co-occurring substance use disorders.
We are seeking a Director of Admissions to lead and oversee all aspects of the intake and admissions process, ensuring timely access to care and a seamless patient experience. This leader will manage referral development, census growth, and a high-performing admissions team, while collaborating closely with clinical and executive leadership to support patient flow and community partnerships. The ideal candidate is a strategic, mission-driven professional passionate about improving access to behavioral health services and serving a diverse patient population in need of critical support.
