With keen attention to Maine College of Health Professions' mission of enriching lives through providing exceptional education in the healthcare professions, the Director of Admissions creates, delivers, and assesses a successful enrollment strategy throughout the recruitment, admission, enrollment, and matriculation cycle.
This individual will work supportively to develop, implement, and manage an engaging and effective system that yields enrollment goals set forth by the College.
Leads the enrollment management effort with dynamism and effectiveness, taking into account the challenges and opportunities facing higher education
Enhances awareness and interest in Maine College of Health Professions throughout the state and region
Forges relationships with healthcare systems, schools, and other agencies that may advance enrollment efforts
Manages the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment functions of the college
Leads the daily operations of the Office of Admission
Uses creativity and collaboration in developing related systems and processes
Develops and manages a CRM/applicant management system
Effectively uses data analysis to support enrollment efforts
Assists College leadership in identifying enrollment goals
Adjusts enrollment activities as needed to ensure that goals are met
Leads the development and delivery of compelling and effective marketing and social media strategies; organize enrollment events
Works with the Vice President of Enrollment and Financial Affairs to optimize the use of scholarships and aid
Manages admissions staff
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college or university
Minimum three (3) years’ leadership experience in academic admissions
Successful record or working with students, faculty, and staff in higher education environments
Successful history in developing strategies and meeting enrollment goals
Experience with CRM and applicant management systems
Experience in creating website, social media, marketing collateral, and digital content
Willingness to travel (occasional)
Willingness to works nights and weekends (as needed)
Preferred – Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Maine College of Health Professions offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $60,000. to $80,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
