The Dir, Nursing 1 is responsible for a variety of duties related to the management and operations of the various the patient care department(s) including but not limited to managing clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, and institutional compliance with professional, regulatory and government standards of care, coordination of nursing, scheduling, staffing coordination and quality compliance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected and leads and directs the work of others.

Education - Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Licensure/Certification - Current RN License
Special Skills - Excellent computer skills, interpersonal & human relations skills and oral & written communication skills; good problem solving & critical thinking skills and time management/prioritization skills; good organizational skills proficiency with hospital software programs
