Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial strategy and execution for assigned mid‑size markets, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities.
Drive revenue growth, market development, and profitability across the portfolio of mid‑size markets.
Partner with country leaders tooptimizego‑to‑market models, sales force effectiveness, and customer engagement strategies.
Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure effective execution and business continuity.
Monitor market performance,identifyrisks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory, quality, and ethical standards across all markets.
Lead, develop, and inspire high‑performing commercial leaders and teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Represent mid‑size markets in regional and global forums, providing insights and influencing strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, ora relatedfield.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
Typically10-12 years of progressive commercial experience, including senior leadership roles within MedTech, Pharma, ora relatedhealthcare industry.
Proven experience leading multi‑country or multi‑market commercial organizations.
Strongtrack recordof driving growth, managing P&L performance, and executing strategy in complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead effectively in a matrixed organization.
Preferred:
Experience working across EMEA or international markets, including mid‑size or emerging markets.
Deep understanding of MedTech commercialization models, tenders, and healthcare systems.
Experience leading transformation or change initiatives.
Strong customer‑centric mindset with experience engaging senior healthcare stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
Excellent people‑leadership capabilities with experience developing senior leaders.
Other:
Language: Fluent Englishrequired;additionalEuropean language(s) preferred.
Travel: Up to ~30%, primarily within Europe and mid‑size markets.
Certifications: Not required; executive leadership or commercial certifications preferred.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€119,200.00 - €204,355.00
