The Director, Integrated Planning breaks down GFOB financial targets for sales, margin, and receipts to division level. They closely collaborate with DMMs to reconcile Merchandise Financial Plans aligned with overall category strategies, offer guidance on division-level inventory strategy (e.g., hold and flow considerations), and advise on network capacity constraints. In-Season, the Director maintains rolling operating forecasts and collaborates with DMMs to manage the business.

What You Will Do

  • Translate GFOB targets into Division-level targets and ensure alignment with top-down annual financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with DMMs to reconcile the Merchandise Financial Plan at the Division level, assessing tradeoffs and risks across departments.
  • Review the In-Season Rolling Operating Forecast for sales, margin, and inventory, and consolidate the divisional view.
  • Monitor weekly inventory forecasts to manage Open-To-Buy (OTB) in partnership with DMMs.
  • Analyze business performance by channel, focusing on highlights and identifying opportunities.
  • Assess current inventory levels and evaluate Rolling Operating Forecast (ROF) based on Beginning of Month (BOM), receipts, and End of Month (EOM) plans.
  • Evaluate opportunities and risks associated with adjusting core parameters, allocations, markdowns, and promotions to meet sales, margin, and inventory objectives.
  • Collaborate with DMMs to develop action plans aimed at achieving financial targets.
  • Conduct business opportunity/risk analyses and summarize findings for leadership.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
  • Review and summarize inventory performance at the division level.

Skills You Will Need

Excellent Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively conveying financial targets, strategies, and performance insights to stakeholders.

Analytical Skills and Business Acumen Strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of business operations are necessary for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.

Detail-Oriented and Results-Driven Attention to detail is crucial for accurately analyzing financial information and ensuring strategic plans align with organizational goals.

Collaboration and Influence Ability to collaborate effectively with DMMs, cross-functional teams, and senior management, leveraging negotiation skills and influencing techniques to drive consensus and action.

Problem-Solving Demonstrated track record of employing effective problem-solving approaches and collaborating with diverse teams to address challenges and achieve objectives.

Forecasting Analysis and Inventory Optimization Proficiency in forecasting analysis and inventory optimization techniques is necessary to ensure efficient inventory management and meet financial targets.

ROF/OTB Management Experience in managing Rolling Operating Forecasts (ROF) and Open-To-Buy (OTB) processes, optimizing inventory levels to support business objectives.

Risk and Opportunity Identification Ability to identify, quantify, and assess risks and opportunities, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic planning.

Who You Are

  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 5+ years of Financial or Inventory Planning experience.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
