To support this journey, we are looking for a Director, Merchandising & Planning LATAM to lead the regional merchandising and planning agenda, ensuring strong commercial performance, strategic alignment, and operational excellence across a diverse cluster of markets.
This is a senior leadership role with high visibility and impact, working closely with the LATAM Leadership Team and global stakeholders.
As Director, Merchandising & Planning LATAM, you will be accountable for defining and executing the regional merchandising and planning strategy, balancing global direction with local market needs.
You will lead and develop a high-performing regional team, drive strong cross-functional collaboration, and ensure that assortments, planning and commercial priorities support sustainable growth, profitability and brand consistency across LATAM.
Own and drive the LATAM merchandising and planning strategy, aligned with global frameworks and local market dynamics
Lead assortment strategy, demand planning, forecasting and inventory optimization across markets and channels
Partner closely with Sales, Retail Excellence, Finance, Marketing, E-commerce and Supply Chain to maximize commercial impact
Translate global initiatives into clear regional execution plans, ensuring speed, clarity and accountability
Act as a strategic sparring partner to the LATAM Leadership Team, providing insights, recommendations and scenario planning
Build strong governance, processes and ways of working to support decision-making and execution at scale
Lead, coach and develop the regional Merchandising & Planning team, fostering ownership, capability building and succession
Use data, insights and performance metrics to continuously improve commercial outcomes and customer experience
Proven experience in a senior merchandising, planning or commercial leadership role, ideally within retail, consumer goods or a complex multi-market environment
Strong ability to read and anticipate consumer trends, market dynamics and competitive landscapes, and translate them into actionable merchandising and planning strategies.
Strong strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach
Deep understanding of merchandising principles, demand planning, inventory management and commercial KPIs
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a matrix and multicultural environment
Ability to navigate complexity, influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions
High analytical capability, with the confidence to challenge, prioritize and make data-driven decisions
Fluency in English is required; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
Willingness to travel regularly across the LATAM cluster
