The Director of Media & Hi-Res plays a key role in shaping the technical direction of ETP’s video solutions. This position works across all business units, supporting everything from video input sources to final output destinations. You’ll drive innovation, ensure technical excellence, and support teams in delivering the highest quality shows in the industry.

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Develop innovative video solutions aligned with market trends and emerging technologies
✅ Research new equipment, arrange demos, and recommend purchases
✅ Partner with the Director of Video Services on strategic planning initiatives
✅ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure technical quality of shows
✅ Review confirmed show quotes for proper and efficient use of technical equipment
✅ Serve as a technical consultant to leadership on issues, trends, and improvements
✅ Work with operations to design, evaluate, and improve Quality Control processes
✅ Ensure overall quality and consistency of product inventory
✅ Provide technical support to show technicians to protect the ETP brand standard
✅ Assist with training programs for show techs, QC techs, and engineering teams
✅ Travel to show sites to validate system design and deployment success
✅ Participate in venue walk-throughs to assess technical needs and limitations

🔎 What We’re Looking For

🔹 Minimum 5 years of experience in the event industry
🔹 Strong background in video systems and technical design
🔹 Technical degree or certification preferred
🔹 Prior management experience preferred
🔹 High level of technical aptitude
🔹 Strong attention to detail
🔹 Ability to collaborate across departments and leadership teams
🔹 Comfortable traveling to event sites as needed
