The Director, Logistics & Warehouse Operations provides enterprise leadership forlogistics, warehousing, inventory control, fulfillment, and distribution strategy across a multi-site, hybrid network of internal operations and third-partylogistics(3PL) partners. This role is accountable for designing,operating, and continuously optimizing thelogisticsandfulfillmentnetwork to balance cost, service, scalability, and operational resilience. Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Director partners closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Commercial, and Finance leaders to ensure network alignment with business strategy,growthobjectives, andorganizational culture

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations,Engineering,ora relatedfieldrequired.

  • Advanced degree(MBA, MS in Supply Chain, or related)preferred.

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • 12–15 years of progressive leadership experience inlogistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations

  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-site warehouse and distribution networks

  • Proven success managing third-partylogistics(3PL) partners, including contracts, SLAs, and KPIsand integration with internal operations

  • Strong understanding of network design, cost-to-serve analysis, and fulfillment strategy

  • Advanced analytical and financialskillswith proven ability tomanage budgets and P&L

  • Strong executive communicationstakeholder-influenceand cross-functional collaborationskills

  • Experience with ERP, WMS, TMS and supply chain systemsrequired

  • Experience in materials planning and/or materials managementstronglypreferred

  • Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements acrosslogisticsand warehouse operations

  • Pragmatic and structured leadership style

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Network Design

  • Define and evolve the enterpriselogisticsand warehouse strategy in alignment with business objectives

  • Lead continuous evaluation and optimization of the distribution and fulfillment network, including location strategy and capacity planning

  • Develop cost-to-serve models and scenario analyses to guide network and fulfillment decisions

3PL & Partner Management

  • Establish and lead the 3PL strategy, including provider selection, scope definition, and governance models

  • Own SLAs, KPIs, financial performance reviews, and continuous improvement cadence with 3PL partners

  • Ensure strong operational integration between internal teams and external partners

Operations & Execution

  • Provide executive oversight forlogistics, warehousing, and fulfillment operations across internal and outsourced sites

  • Ensure disciplined inventory control, accuracy, visibility, and valuation

  • Oversee central receiving operations, outbound shipping activities, material handling standards, and operational safety compliance

  • Drive technology adoption, automation, and digital transformation initiatives across operations

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Finance teams to align fulfillment capabilities with demand and margin objectives

  • Lead, coach, and develop seniorlogisticsand warehouse leadership talent, fostering a high-performanceculture and succession planning

  • Champion change management initiatives to enable operational excellence and organizational alignment

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish enterprise KPIs forlogistics, warehousing, and fulfillment, safety,cultureand sustainabilityperformance

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, service, scalability, and operational resilience

Physical Demands

  • Ability tolift upto 30 pounds; regular presence in operational environmentsrequired.

  • Frequent travel to internal and 3PL sitesrequired

Work Environment: Combination of office, warehouse, anddistributionenvironments, including regular interaction with third-partylogisticssites.
