Working closely with the Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, and RevOps teams, this leader ensures that marketing platforms, processes, and data serve as strategic assets rather than just infrastructure. This role requires a systems thinker who can connect platform architecture to pipeline outcomes through strong analytics, process design, and technology vision.

  • Own lifecycle stage architecture, lead scoring models, automation workflows, and campaign operations within HubSpot.
  • Manage the marketing to sales handoff, including lead routing, SLA enforcement, MQL and SQL definitions, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Partner with IT, RevOps, and Sales Enablement to ensure the CRM serves both marketing and sales without creating friction or data conflicts.
  • Lead the marketing analytics function, building attribution models and reporting frameworks that clearly demonstrate marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue.
  • Provide leadership with actionable insights on funnel performance, channel effectiveness, and optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with RevOps and Finance to ensure clean attribution models and reliable, trusted reporting.
  • Translate data into strategic recommendations that inform campaign investment, resource allocation, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Set the vision and roadmap for AI and machine learning capabilities within the marketing operations function, including predictive lead scoring, intelligent segmentation, content personalization, and automated campaign optimization.
  • Direct a dedicated AI engineer, translating business needs into technical requirements and prioritizing initiatives by impact.
  • Identify and pilot emerging AI applications that create measurable efficiency gains or conversion improvements across the marketing engine.
  • Evaluate build versus buy decisions for AI capabilities, balancing speed to value against long-term strategic differentiation.
  • Own data quality standards across marketing systems, including import and export protocols, deduplication, and enrichment processes.
  • Establish and enforce integration hygiene standards to ensure clean data flows between platforms.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure marketing data practices meet privacy requirements, including GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM.
  • Serve as the accountable owner for the integrity of the data that marketing decisions depend on.
  • Work closely with Growth Marketing and Demand Generation to ensure platforms and processes support campaign execution at scale.
  • Partner with Web Strategy to align marketing automation with site experiences and conversion optimization.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to define and maintain the operational seam between marketing and sales, ensuring leads move through the funnel without friction.
