In the role of Director, Marketing Activation & Category Solutions (12-Month Contract) working in Toronto, ON, you will be part of the Commercial Leadership Team. You will lead Molson Coors Canada's Shopper Marketing, Customer Marketing, Category Solutions, and Sales Enablement functions while driving category growth strategies and commercial planning across our entire portfolio. This role plays a critical part in connecting brand strategy, customer strategy, and category leadership to drive sustainable growth and achieve our long-term business objectives.

This position reports to the VP Commercial Operations and works closely with the Commercial Leadership Team, Strategy & Capabilities teams, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Executive Leadership, external agencies, data partners, and key customers across Canada.

What You'll Be Brewing

  • Lead Canada's Category Strategy and below-the-line marketing strategy to ensure our portfolio is positioned effectively with the right customers and channels.
  • Drive Growth Planning, Joint Business Planning, marketing planning, and resource allocation to support strategic and financial objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering capability building, engagement, succession planning, and professional growth.
  • Deliver volume, revenue, profit, and market share objectives through category management, customer marketing, shopper marketing, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Influence strategic decisions across multiple business functions while serving as a key liaison between Commercial, Strategy & Capabilities, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, agencies, and vendors to modernize selling capabilities and accelerate business performance.

Key Ingredients

  • You are an authentic leader who values diverse perspectives and creates an inclusive environment where people can perform at their best.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • You have 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Customer Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or related commercial leadership functions.
  • You have experience partnering with executive leadership teams and leading initiatives across multiple functions and stakeholders.
  • You have strong knowledge of category management and shopper marketing principles, preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • You have demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, change management, and capability development initiatives.
  • You have experience managing customer relationships and supporting commercial growth through category and customer marketing strategies.
  • You understand trade practices and regulatory requirements across Canadian provinces.
  • You build meaningful relationships and collaborate effectively to deliver business results.
  • You take accountability for outcomes while acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
  • You have a passion for developing people through coaching, mentorship, and leadership.
