What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in market development, strategy, or GTM roles within B2B or data-driven industries.
  • Ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations across multiple geographies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Skilled in market sizing, intelligence, and commercialization.
  • Advanced English proficiency required (verbal and written).

Impact You'll Make:

TransUnion is on a mission to enable scaled growth across international markets through strategic insights and market activation. As the Director of Market Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategies, advancing go-to-market initiatives, and overseeing solution commercialization. This is a high-impact leadership role for a visionary strategist who thrives on turning insights into action and influencing outcomes across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute market development strategies that unlock scalable growth.
  • Deliver market sizing, intelligence, and support localization of adjacency strategies to identify new opportunities.
  • Champion practice industrialization for scalable growth.
  • Support upskilling Sellers by providing Industry expertise training content.
  • Lead and expand the ‘Thematic Selling’ strategy in the market, and playbook development to deepen industry relevance.
  • Provide actionable insights into industry and key client growth to inform GTM plans.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and support roll out of TU INTL’s client engagement model to enhance operational excellence.
  • Shape industry perspectives through market intelligence and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Influence product lifecycle decisions by contributing to the process throughout each stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Identify and guide new use cases that drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Amplify thought leadership and support strengthen TransUnion’s brand presence in local markets in partnership with Marketing, Product Marketing, R&C.
  • Activate strategic client events and ecosystem partnerships to position TransUnion as a trusted advisor.
  • Build initiatives that reinforce reputation and deepen client engagement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Market share growth in targeted geographies.
  • Successful execution of GTM initiatives and thematic selling programs.
  • Increased adoption of new solutions and use cases.
  • Enhanced client engagement and brand presence in international markets.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
