Job Description
As the Director of Market, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing a high-performing team. Your primary responsibility is to lead and inspire a team of Field Sales Associates, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets. You will work closely with distribution partners and Platinum Partners, utilizing your expertise and resources to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Responsible for all aspects of field sales execution. Including but not limited to:
- Manage the development of market specific Platinum Partner portfolios and assure that all associates have a complete portfolio.
- Oversee strategic objective planning and collaboration with the division Client Management Team.
- Actively manage Team Leads and Sales Associates to guarantee established sales metrics are being met by using our CRM tool.
- Review weekly Sales Team performance and call data to ensure goals are being met.
- Provide feedback and coaching to Sales Team based on weekly reporting.
- Pro-actively work with in the field and provide specific feedback for your team members on a trimester basis via our Performance Management System.
- Selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, and counseling of team members in your Market.
- Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions enforcing policies and procedures.
- Foster and maintain company culture within your Sales Team.
- Establish and foster relationships with client peers, Regional Sales Managers.
- Evaluate and ensure that sales resources are accurately aligned to the requirements of the business. Distributor dedication and Platinum Partners.
- Manage and develop local distribution relationships within the market.
- Review monthly mileage logs via Everlance
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Restaurant operation/sales experience is preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a sales team, achieving outstanding results.
- Excellent knowledge of CRM systems and their effective utilization for sales management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and sales events.
- Passion for sales and a results-oriented mindset.
