
Leads and supports the work of shared governance and assists in the organization's Journey to Magnet Excellence. This role provides leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating professional practice to ensure alignment with organizational goals, fostering aculture of excellence, and achieving superior outcomes.
• Supports and leads professional governance activities throughout the organization• Assists in developing and leading system-wide strategies to support clinical quality, operational effectiveness, and shared leadership• Serves as Magnet coach to all leaders and program managers• Promotes evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement initiatives• Leads the development of leadership training programs• Oversees nursing recognition initiatives and awards• Ensures compliance with Magnet standards, regulatory requirements, and best practice guidelines• Supports document preparation and site visit readiness for Magnet appraisals• Collaborates with nursing leaders to ensure consistent practice standards across the organization• Guides and supports the shared governance structure• Facilitate programs that enhance nurse engagement, retention, and satisfaction• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, stateand local standards.• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Education/Training.• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required• Master’s degree in nursing or any other health related field required.
Licensure/Certification• Current state license as a Registered Nurse• National certification in nursing leadership or professional practice (e.g., NEA-BC, RN-BC) required.
ExperienceMinimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, including three (3) years in a leadership and/or program manager role
