Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

- Lead various capital management activities including but not limited to HKRBC solvency sensitivities, capital target setting and annual remittance application. Present the results to senior management.
- Lead capital projects if needed. For instance, HKRBC rules change proposal and Macao RBC development.

- Assign working groups and set the milestones to ensure the submission timeline are met, with reasonable review time for senior management.
- Provide training to junior staff on solvency results analysis and presentation, coaching and review their deliverables.
- Identify and implement solutions to improve the tools, processes, and general framework

Required Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
- At least 10 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services
- Fellowship in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, IFoA).
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access). Knowledge in GGY AXIS, Python and PathWise is an advantage.
- Demonstrated the understanding in actuarial concepts and various financial metrics
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information, results, and recommendations to various levels across the organization.
- Strong ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, for self and others.
- Strong communication skill, both written and oral. Able to translate technical requirements into common terminology
- Proactive attitude and good team player.
