
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Information Services, this position is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the high availability and efficiency of IT systems, and aligning the IT infrastructure operations with Community First’s strategic goals. The Director will also lead service delivery management, configuration build, testing, planning, and deployment of solutions to ensure systems reliability and scalability. The Director is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of all third-party and internally managed IT infrastructure and application services used to support all business processes across the organization.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science plus five years’ experience in the field OR ten years’ experience in the field and five years in IT leadership roles. Experience in supporting Infrastructure Services on Prem & in a public cloud-based environment (AWS, MS Azure). Must possess understanding of ITIL and ITSM. Certification and experience in driving ITIL process adoption is preferred. Formal training in project management is highly desirable.
Systems: Experience and in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components including the following: Windows OS, MSSQL, NetApp, VDI, Virtualization – VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.
Telephony and Fax: Experience with top tier telephony and fax solutions; both on prem and cloud i.e., CISCO and RightFax.
Networking: NGAVs, CISCO and Palo Alto experience is a PLUS.
Security Tools: EDR/XDR, SIEMs, Data Loss and Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability Scanning and Assessment tools.
Security Frameworks: Experience with HITRUST, NIST or Health Care Related HIPAA requirements is required.
