Alamos is a Canadian-based intermediate gold producer with diversified production from three operations in North America. Director, Investor Relations

Primary Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the SVP, Corporate Development & Investor Relations, assist in managing and executing a corporate Investor Relations plan, including but not limited to the elements listed below:

  • Preparation, review and distribution of external communication materials, including press releases, corporate presentations, and quarterly materials to investors, analysts, and other members of the financial community;
  • Development, coordination and participation in meetings and presentations to investors, research analysts, and other members of the financial community;
  • Provide support, respond to inquiries and proactively communicate with sell-side research analysts, shareholders and other retail and institutional investors;
  • Track and analyze sell-side analyst research and estimates, as well as investor and analyst perceptions of the Company and industry, and assist in the presentation of feedback to the Company;
  • Plan and manage investor meetings, conference calls, Company hosted site tours, investor days, road shows and investor conferences;
  • Oversee and ensure the timely posting of corporate materials and regular review of the Company website to ensure content is up to date;
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly management update report and various other internal written updates;
  • Respond to special requests of other departments; and
  • Other related duties as required.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Engineering, Geology, or a related field
  • A minimum of seven years of capital markets experience, preferably in corporate investor relations, equity research, or similar experience
  • Mining industry experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of graphics software, such as Adobe Photoshop or similar
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg/Factset/Capital IQ
  • Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail are critical to success in role
  • Ability to work within tight timelines and comfort working longer hours periodically
  • Exemplary communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of your time.
