Lead Major Energy Infrastructure Investments for NSW
Energy Security Corporation (ESC) is seeking an accomplished Director, Investments to lead the structuring, negotiation and completion of complex energy and infrastructure transactions that support NSW's energy transition.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Investments, you will lead transactions from origination and assessment through due diligence, structuring, negotiation, legal and financial close. You will work across debt, equity and other capital solutions to progress investments in large-scale generation, energy storage, networks and enabling infrastructure.
Working closely with senior executives, project proponents, co-investors, financiers, government stakeholders and advisers, you will shape transaction strategy, resolve complex commercial issues and drive deals to completion.
You will provide expert commercial, financial and strategic advice to support investment decisions, manage risk and ensure ESC's capital is deployed effectively to accelerate priority projects in NSW and mobilise private investment.
This is a senior investment role requiring strong judgement, disciplined execution and the ability to negotiate successfully in complex, multi-party environments.

About You
You are a senior investment professional with a demonstrated track record of leading, structuring, negotiating and completing capital transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
You bring deep experience investing debt and/or equity in large-scale generation, energy storage and infrastructure projects, together with the commercial judgement, execution discipline and stakeholder influence needed to take complex deals through to financial close.
