Join our Investment Center of Excellence (COE) Accounting team as a Director and play a critical role in strengthening the strategy, systems, and operating model that support investment accounting across the organization. In this role, you will be leading the development and execution of investment accounting frameworks, ensuring consistency, strong controls, and high-quality financial reporting across business units. You will partner closely with accounting, policy, and business teams to navigate complex investment structures, provide technical guidance, and translate detailed analysis into clear, actionable insights for leadership. This role also offers broad exposure across the organization, with opportunities to enhance processes and drive greater efficiency and scalability in how investment accounting is performed. As a leader, you will help foster a collaborative, high-performing environment—coaching talent, strengthening accountability, and contributing to a culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation in support of the firm’s evolving investment landscape.

The Investment COE Accounting Team works across the company to provide expertise, consistency, and continuous improvement in investment accounting. We partner across the organization to support accurate reporting, strong controls, and successful close cycles. Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
The base salary range for this position is $95,000-186,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
