We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Director, Investment Advisory - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Director, Investment Advisory - C15) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Lead the Investments Advisory Support function, setting the strategic direction and priorities to support the investment business growth
  • Partner closely with Product, Specialist and Advisor teams to translate investment themes, market developments and product solutions into actionable opportunities for frontline teams and clients.
  • Partner with Specialists and Advisors in high-net-worth client engagements, portfolio reviews and investment discussions, providing advisory expertise and investment solutioning to support complex client needs
  • Serve as spokesperson for the bank, engaging with media, clients and industry forums. Represent the Investment business in client seminars and external events, reinforcing the bank's advisory capabilities and strengthening its position as a trusted wealth management partner.
  • Drive the delivery of client-centric advisory materials, presentations and communication frameworks that enable effective client conversations across digital and face-to-face channels.
  • Lead the development and execution of client engagement initiatives and advisory campaigns to enhance client acquisition, retention and portfolio growth.
  • Lead, develop and mentor the Investments Advisory Support team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on advisory excellence, client outcomes, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure appropriate governance, supervisory oversight and adherence to regulatory requirements across all advisory support activities, client communications and engagement initiatives, while effectively managing risk and protecting the firm's reputation, clients and assets.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience
  • Strong quantitative skills, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in both a team and individual creative setting
  • HKMA Type 1, 4
