Job Description

Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS) is accelerating partner-led growth across Microsoft Americas by connecting industry priorities, sales execution, partner capabilities, and measurable co-sell outcomes. This role serves as the Industry Strategy and Co-Sell Lead that bridges go-to-market strategy, partner activation, sales organization engagement, program execution, and ACME execution at scale with measurable pipeline impact.

As the Director, Industry Strategy & Co-Sell Lead, you will shape and land the Americas EPS industry strategy while leading the Americas Co-Selling Microsoft Engine (ACME). You will bring Microsoft sellers and top partners together to jointly plan and drive co-sell motions, accelerate existing pipeline, and create new pipeline across priority industries and customer segments.

Responsibilities

Role Expectations:
Fuel partner-led growth across the Americas by orchestrating industry strategy and ACME co-sell execution that improves pipeline impact, revenue attribution, and closed revenue.

  • Architect and drive the Americas EPS industry strategy across go-to-market, services, sales, marketing, partner, and industry stakeholders to create an aligned approach to industry priorities, events, partner activation, and field execution.
  • Serve as the industry connective tissue across EPS, sales organizations, industry teams, marketing leads, partner development teams, field leaders, and partners to translate industry plans into actionable partner-led pipeline motions.
  • Lead ACME as the overall co-sell program owner, including partner showcase motions, account-level co-sell meetings, inbound lead sharing, opportunity alignment, post-call tracking, and executive dashboard visibility.
  • Drive measurable co-sell outcomes through consistent partner-led pipeline motions, quality referrals, qualified opportunities, stage progression, partner attach, field calls to action, repeatable win summaries, and closed revenue opportunities.
  • Activate prioritized partners by sales organization and industry using data-driven partner selection criteria, sponsor alignment, industry communities, partner showcases, executive engagement, and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Partner effectively across EPS and sales stakeholders to align industry strategy with partner strategy, planning rhythms, and co-sell initiatives that strengthen field engagement and seller adoption.
  • Partner with industry marketing leads to connect industry priorities, partner storytelling, event support, demand generation, and measurable marketing outcomes into a unified go-to-market motion.

Business Outcome: Higher-quality partner-led pipeline creation and progression through repeatable co-sell execution.

What the Role Owns:Qualified opportunities, inbound lead quality, stage progression, partner attach, seller calls to action, and revenue upside tracking.
Business Outcome: Measurable pipeline impact and improved visibility into partner-influenced revenue opportunities.

Partnering

What the Role Owns: Partner prioritization, partner engagement strategy, executive alignment, success storytelling, reusable content, and stakeholder activation across industries.
Business Outcome: A scalable partner motion that helps sales organizations replicate successful co-sell outcomes.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 7+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading partner, go-to-market, field, co-sell, or business strategy initiatives in a matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across sales, marketing, partner, industry, and field organizations without direct authority.
  • Experience building or scaling co-sell, pipeline acceleration, partner activation, industry strategy, or sales enablement motions tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Evidence of operational discipline, including stakeholder launch planning, workback management, executive communications, dashboards, pipeline tracking, and post-event follow-through.
  • Deep understanding of partner ecosystem roles and motions across partner development, partner marketing, sales, industry, and partner-led go-to-market teams.
  • Experience with partner-led pipeline, inbound referral quality, opportunity alignment, sales program tracking, and return-on-investment reporting.
  • Ability to convert complex cross-functional execution into concise executive narratives, decision frameworks, playbooks, stakeholder updates, and partner or seller guidance.
  • Track record of building trust with field and partner stakeholders, iterating through ambiguity, and scaling repeatable motions across industries and sales organizations.

Partner Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
