Job Description

The Director, Independent Exhibitor Partnerships will play a key role in accelerating the growth of Fandango1 across the global independent and regional cinema market.

The role will focus on driving new customer acquisition, expanding industry relationships, increasing market share among exhibitors currently operating on Veezi, RTS, Admit One, and similar platforms, and strengthening Fandango1's position as the preferred operating system for independent cinemas.

Working closely with commercial, product, customer success, and leadership teams, this role will help identify, develop, and close opportunities while serving as a trusted industry representative and ambassador for Fandango1.

Primary Responsibilities

Market Growth & Customer Acquisition

  • Drive growth within the independent and regional cinema segment across key markets.
  • Identify, develop, and close opportunities with exhibitors currently operating on Veezi, RTS, Admit One, and other competing platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cinema owners, operators, and industry leaders.
  • Develop strategies to accelerate Fandango1 adoption within targeted customer segments.
  • Support customer acquisition efforts across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Strategic Relationship Management

  • Serve as a senior industry ambassador for Fandango1.
  • Develop long-term relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Support customer retention, expansion, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Help establish Fandango1 as the trusted partner for independent and regional exhibitors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to exhibitors evaluating future technology and operational strategies.

Industry Leadership

  • Represent Fandango1 at conferences, trade shows, customer events, and industry forums.
  • Strengthen Fandango1's visibility and reputation within the global exhibition community.
  • Provide ongoing market intelligence, competitive insight, and customer feedback.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives and strategic industry engagement.

Opportunity Development & Commercial Execution

  • Build and lead a dedicated competitive conversion program focused on Veezi, RTS, Admit One, and other legacy cinema platforms, targeting 25–40 new locations annually over a 3–5 year horizon.
  • Independently manage and close opportunities within the independent and regional cinema segment.
  • Generate qualified opportunities and build a strong commercial pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, product, and customer success teams to support successful customer acquisition and onboarding.
  • Identify larger strategic opportunities and engage the appropriate leadership resources where beneficial.
  • Support the development of commercial strategies designed to increase market share and accelerate growth.
  • Accelerate competitive conversions across the wider sales organization through industry relationships, operational credibility, mentorship, and deep knowledge of competing platforms.

International Growth Support

  • Work closely with the international commercial organization to support growth across international markets.
  • Support commercial efforts across Australia and New Zealand alongside the regional team.
  • Collaborate with North American commercial leadership on strategic opportunities and growth initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for expansion into emerging international markets including Europe, South Africa, and South America.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

  • Extensive, well-established reputation and relationships within the independent cinema exhibition community.
  • Demonstrated track record of both generating opportunities for a broader team and closing business directly.
  • Deep familiarity with the independent and regional cinema technology landscape, including Veezi, RTS, and Admit One.
  • Strong executive presence with the credibility to operate as a senior industry ambassador.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships across multiple international markets.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a senior sales, partnerships, or industry leadership role within cinema exhibition or adjacent entertainment technology.
  • Existing relationships with high-profile independent exhibitor accounts.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed organization alongside regional and strategic account leadership.

Additional Requirements:

  • This is a remote role requiring regular travel within the assigned market
  • Salary Range: $190,000-$200,000 + Bonus
